Elizabeth Ludlow Joins The Godzilla Sequel

Actress Elizabeth Ludlow, who plays Arat on AMC's The Walking Dead, has joined the cast of Michael Dougherty's Godzilla sequel.

The film will serve as the third entry in the Legendary MonsterVerse, alongside both Gareth Edwards' Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island. Ludlow joins a cast that already includes the likes of Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Zhang Ziyi. Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins will be reprising their roles from Gareth Edwards' Godzilla.

Dougherty directs and co-wrote the script for the film with Zack Shields.

You can read the official plot synopsis posted below...

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah.  When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Godzilla stomps into theaters on March 22, 2019.
