Pre-release tracking numbers for Matt Reeves' War For The Planet Of The Apes are in with analysts predicting that the third installment of the rebooted franchise will open somewhere between $55-$65-Million domestically when it opens in a few weeks.
This will put the new film smack in the middle of its predecessors. Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes opened with $54-Million back in the summer of 2011, while Matt Reeves' Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes snagged a nice $72-Million when it opened in 2014.
War For The Planet Of The Apes is also expected to bring in $500-Million from overseas, following in the footsteps of Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
The film has been earning positive reviews from critics and fans alike, and is expected to be one of the summer's biggest hits.
