Production has begun on the second chapter of Transformers: Titans Return.
The digital series hails from Warner Bros., Hasbro and Machinima and is set to debut this November exclusively on Verizon’s Go90 video service and on Sohu.com in China. The new series will be comprised of 10 episodes, each running about 11-minutes in length.
Making up the voice cast for this latest installment will be Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, Judd Nelson as Rodimus Prime, Wil Wheaton as Perceptor, Michael Dorn as Fortress Maximus and long-time Mighty Morphin Power Rangers alum Jason David Frank as Emissary. Abby Trott will also be back in the role of Windblade along with Jason Marnocha as Megatron and Frank Todaro once again voicing Starscream.
In the series, the gigantic Transformers called Titans are awakened and cause massive problems. Trypticon, a gigantic lizard-like Transformer, rises to wreak havoc on Cybertron, while Windblade and a ragtag team of Transformers must resurrect an ancient ally. The conflict will transform beloved heroes forever — while some Transformers will be blown to oblivion.
F.J. DeSanto is overseeing the new series as showrunner and executive producer.
Since it debuted back in August 2016, Transformers: Combiner Wars, the first chapter of the Prime Wars trilogy, has generated over 125-Million views. The series also coincides with the Transformers toyline of the same name, which also arrived on store shelves last year.
Transformers: Titans Return will debut this November.
