Warner Bros. has set an official release date for the Wonder Woman sequel.
The highly anticipated film, which will see Gal Gadot back in the role of the iconic Amazonian princess once again, will hit the big screen on December 13th, 2019.
Patty Jenkins is currently working on the script alongside Geoff Johns, and negotiations to get her back in the director's chair are still ongoing at this time.
Fans will next cross paths with Diana in Justice League. Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amber Heard, J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe, Connie Nielsen and Jesse Eisenberg, that film arrives in theatres on November 17th.
The first Wonder Woman film was released on June 2nd, and has grossed an amazing $780-Million to date, bypassing Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 and being declared the #1 film of the summer movie season.
Wonder Woman 2 was one of the newest DC Films to be announced by Warner Bros. this past weekend at San Diego Comic Con. While it remains the only new film to receive an official release date, alongside Justice League and Aquaman, it has been revealed that the next DC Film slated to begin production will be Shazam from director David F. Sandberg.
