It looks as though the crew of the Waverider will have to contend with a little monkey business next season on DC's Legends Of Tomorrow.
This afternoon at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, showrunner Phil Klemmer announced that famed Flash rogue Gorilla Grodd would be making an appearance on the hit DC Entertainment drama, marking the first time the character has crossed into another DC TV show.
Gorilla Grodd will be a new villain for the #LegendsofTomorrow in season 3— Natalie Abrams (@NatalieAbrams) August 2, 2017
The last time fans came across Grodd, he had just led an army of savage Gorillas from Earth-2 against Barry Allen and the denizens of Central City. However, his master plan was thwarted by the arrival of Solovar, who bested Grodd n combat before raining control of his army once again.
We're eager to see how Grodd will be brought over to the new show, but what we're really looking forward to is seeing how Mick Rory will handle crossing pats with a talking super ape!
You just know that's going to be entertaining.
Starring Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Wentworth Miller and Neal McDonough, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow returns for its third season on October 10th at 9pm.
