Ant-Man And The Wasp Tops The Box Office

Things got buggy at the box office this weekend.

Peyton Reed's Ant-Man And The Wasp squashed the competition here at home with a healthy $76-Million domestic debut. That tops the first film, which bowed to $57-Million in 2015.

Overseas, the latest Marvel movie collected an additional $85-Million.

This brings the global total for Ant-Man And The Wasp up to $161-Million.

Additionally, these numbers have allowed the massively successful Marvel Cinematic Universe to collect a combined total of $17-Billion across the globe!

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly reprise their roles as Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne respectively in a film that sees the superhero duo on a new mission from Dr. Hank Pym.

Michael Douglas, Hannah John-Kamen, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, and Bobby Cannavale also star.

Ant-Man And The Wasp is in theatres now.
