Review: Chapterhouse - Fallen Suns #4

Things are about to get toasty up in here!

As the maximum security prison known as The Slingshot rockets toward the sun, the vastly outnumbered trio of Parminder, Pharos and Viin must scramble to halt the ship's launch.

Fortunately, the new Lightbringer didn't come to Earth without a plan.

With some help from an unexpected and surprise ally, Pharos is able to gain the upper hand against his captors and stop The Slingshot's ascent into the atmosphere. Following their daring escape, the trio end up in the North West Territories where Pharos reveals his true reason for fighting for the humans - as a means to avenge the death of his beloved mate.

Shortly after, while trekking through the barren landscape, Pharos buries his seed deep within the frozen soil, just as a new friend emerges from the snow to offer his hand in friendship and allegiance in the fight against the Borealis - Captain Canuck!

An action-packed rollercoaster ride of a read, Fallen Suns #4 finishes off one chapter and kicks off another as the impending invasion of hostile aliens draws ever closer.

Van Jensen, Neil Collyer and Leila Del Duca have crafted a most satisfying read crammed full of action and heart that fans of Canada's own Chapterverse are sure to love! Watching the pieces continuously falling into place is exciting to behold, and we've no doubt that newcomers and longtime readers alike will devour this latest issue of Fallen Suns with the utmost fervour.

Rating: 5/5 - "An extremely satisfying Sci-Fi epic that sets the stage for something more!"
