Eel O'Brien is on the hunt for a friend.
Following the shocking conclusion of its debut issue, Plastic Man returns with an exciting second chapter that sees the stretchy super on the hunt for a young friend who saved his life.
After being accused of cold blooded murder, Plas is confronted by the full fury of the Cole City Police Department. However, before they can take him down, a young street urchin arrives to help him find a place to hide. Yet, their breather is only a short one. Suddenly and without warning, Man-Bat shows up and kidnaps the kid.
This sends Plas on the hunt for his young friend, but it's not until his mysterious friend from the previous issue steps in with a location that Patrick O'Brien is reunited with his pal. However, removing him from the situation won't be easy, and just wait until you see what our hero pulls to avoid going one on one with the savage Man-Bat.
Once again, the latest issue of Plastic Man is purely delightful in every sense of the word!
It's brimming with laughs, crammed full of pop culture references, and filled with plenty of charm!
Gail Simone and Adriana Melo have created a truly tantalizing follow-up to their debut issue. Plastic Man is certain to have you forgetting about all the doom and gloom of this world with each turn of its fun-filled pages! The story is fantastic, the art bright and beautiful. It's deliriously hilarious, and delivers from start to finish!
Whether he's shaking down thugs, or interacting with his fellow heroes, Plastic Man has a style all his own! And, like the hero within its pages, this all-new series is something truly unique that stretches above the rest with relative ease!
This one delivers from beginning to end!
We can't wait to rejoin the bumbling O'Brien on his next adventure soon enough!
