Harley Goes Huntin' To Save Her Home.
Returning from Apokolips, Harley Quinn and Tina narrowly stop the demolition of Harley's home at the hands of a sleazy real estate developer. Realizing she has just two more days to pay all her bills, Harley sets to work trying to put things right.
However, when all you've known is being one of the craziest supervillains of the DC Universe, regular everyday jobs are harder than they look. And so, after crashing a cab, setting a kitchen on fire and other multiple workplace mishaps, Harley soon realizes this is going to be a little harder than she once thought.
Not too long after, Harley receives an email informing her of a bounty placed on the head of a mysterious character calling himself Lord Death Man. A bounty totaling $1-Million big ones! Seeing this as the answer to her prayers, Harley gears up and heads out, but soon learns that her mark isn't exactly the easiest baddie to off!
Sam Humphries continues his absolutely stellar run on Harley Quinn with this excellent issue!
It's as goofy and fun as that which has come before, sprinkled with some pretty savvy fan service to boot! This book is chalked full of laughs, and stands as one of the most unique and fun titles we've had the privilege of reading this year!
Alisson Borges joins on as artist beginning with this new issue, and his skills are more than evident with each turn of the page! Each panel pops with character and further immerse readers into this kooky cavalcade! We look forward to seeing his work expand within the pages of subsequent issues, as he's proven here and now that he's more than up to the task!
In short, Harley Quinn #48 is another solid win for DC Comics. It's just so much fun, you can't help but love every single second of it! The art is superb, the plot over the top terrific! This is one seriously sensational chapter, and you can't afford to miss even a single page!
