Review: DC Comics - Wonder Woman #54

It's War!

Returning from Mexico with Artemis and Atlanta, Wonder Woman is horrified to learn that the exiled Bana-Mighdall are going to war against the nation of Qurac.

Desperate to turn the tide before blood is spilled, Diana appeals to Artemis, but soon learns that her sisters are being manipulated by none other than the deadly Rustam!

As the army prepares for war, Diana confronts the rebel leader - refusing to allow him to lead her sisters into a bloody conflict that they have no business taking part in. However, Rustam refuses to let his plan fail and he convinces the warriors of the exiled Bana-Mighdall that this is the home they so rightly deserve!

How dare the Amazonian Princess attempt to take away what belongs to them! Diana's got her hands full with this one, here's hoping she won't lose her head in the process!

The latest issue of Wonder Woman continues to showcase the stellar talent of writer Steve Orlando as he sets the manipulated exiled Bana-Mighdall on a collision course with the military might of Qurac! It's a tense and dramatic arc that is sure to have readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish!

In addition, the art of Raul Allen goes the extra mile in adding something truly beautiful and striking to an already engaging tale that stands as one of the best Wonder Woman arcs of the modern age! Fans won't want to miss this exciting chapter of a nation on the edge of war!

Rating: 5/5 - "An epic and sweeping read of the finest kind!"
