Review: DC Comics - Aquaman #42

Arthur Visits The Dead Sea!

In the latest Drowned Earth tie-in story, Aquaman ends up having a vision that reunites him with his father on a boat traversing a mythical body of water.

Colored crimson, and haunted by the Ocean Master and his monstrous minions, the Dead Sea could very well end up burying Arthur. However, with help from his dad, Arthur will face his fears and become the hero he was always meant to be. Yet, this will not be an easy task.

No, before reaching this realization, Arthur must defeat some of his deadliest foes. And than, when everything is all said and done, it is up to Arthur and Diana to race home from the Graveyard Of The Gods and warn their friends that they may be facing the wrong enemy. All while the planet continues to flood and a power hungry Black Manta lurks just below the surface!

Aquaman #42 serves as a beautifully crafted look into the mind of a man grappling with destiny! Dan Abnett and Lan Medina have combined their talents into an essential part of the Drowned Earth mythos - one fans are certain to get a real kick out of!
