Review: DC Comics - Aquaman #43

A New Era Of Aquaman Begins!

Spiraling out of the events of Drowned Earth, Aquaman returns to comic shops today with an all-new creative team and a story set to send some shivers down your spine!

Star scribe Kelly Sue DeConnick teams up with red-hot artist Robson Rocha to tell a new tale that sees an amnesiac Arthur washing up on the shores of a remote island. Here, he is cared for and adopted into a superstitious society of islanders who feel that the sea must be feared and respected if they are to thrive and survive against her unrelenting fury!

Enter Caille, a mysterious young woman said to be the daughter of a woman who disrespected the waters who is just a little too curious for Arthur's comfort. What is her connection to the island and its society of simple fisherman?

And, why has the sea begun unleashing its anger against them?

Find out this week in the chilling pages of Aquaman #43.

This is a strong and exciting first step for DeConnick and Rocha, as their debut issue offers up a frightful mystery fans are sure to dive right in to! While DeConnick's plot is gripping and engaging, Rocha brings his skills to the fore, presenting the King Of Atlantis as never before!

This new arc is sure to rope readers in hard, and is the perfect companion piece to enjoy alongside the release of James Wan's Aquaman movie this coming weekend!

Are you ready to take the plunge and experience a new era for Atlantis?
