Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. To End With Season 7

All good things must come to an end.

Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. will conclude with its upcoming seventh season.

"Next summer’s Season 7 will be the last for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," a message posted on the show’s official Twitter account read. "Thanks to our fans for allowing us to be the longest-running Marvel TV series to-date."

The show, currently airing its sixth season, will have a panel today at San Diego Comic Con. Set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen. Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Chloe Bennett, Iain De Caestecker, and Henry Simmons make up the cast.

With the Disney+ streaming service set to launch later this year, there has been plenty of speculation as to what the House Of Mouse was planning for the future of the beloved action series. Disney+ will feature its own slate of Marvel shows, which will center on fan-favorite characters like Loki, Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye among others.

They're also launching a slate of animated Marvel shows on Hulu like MODOK, Hit-Monkey, Tigra & Dazzler and Howard The Duck - which will culminate in The Offenders.

So, while Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is soon to end, there is still plenty of Marvel streaming content on the way from Disney and Marvel. And, we're excited for all of it!

What do you think, Infinite Earths fans?

DC Announces New Birds Of Prey Book For Fall

Before making their big screen debut in February, the Birds Of Prey will be off on yet another adventure courtesy of a new book hailing from DC Comics.

Slated for release this Fall, the new title features the upcoming movie lineup of the team including Black Canary, Huntress and Harley Quinn - with Gotham City detective, and part time vigilante Renee Montoya along for the fun.

Brian Azzarello will handle the story, while Emanuela Lupacchino will take care of the art alongside inker Ray McCarthy and color artist Trish Mulvihill respectively.

"The Birds are a super-team I’ve never worked on before but that I‘ve always loved," she says. "This will be a lovely opportunity to bring these women to life and let the reader feel their emotions. I’ll give them their energy and power."

The new series will present Harley with a new life, and see Black Canary out to help the Huntress, who’s been sent up against a threat known as Las Esposas de la Muerte.

Says Azzarello, "Ema and I are pushing the envelope, both character-wise and plot-wise, with equal parts estrogen and adrenaline. Our BOP will be the must-read title every month. Ambitious? Sure. That’s why it’s worth doing."

Birds Of Prey arrives digitally and on newsstands October 30th.

Supergirl Promotes Andrea Brooks To Regular

Get ready to see more of Eve Teschmacher next season.

Actress Andrea Brooks, who portrays Cat Grant's plucky former assistant on Supergirl, has been upped to a series regular ahead of Season 5 this Fall.

The character was introduced back in 2016 and has recurred on the show since then.

Since making her debut, Eve has transformed into a much more pivotal - and diabolical - character as of late. Her true nature was exposed towards the end of Season 4, when it was revealed that she’d secretly spent years working for the villainous Lex Luthor.

When last we met her, Eve was trying to skip town.

However, before she could depart, she was stopped by a mysterious old woman who informed her "Leviathan is everywhere. Leviathan is everyone. And Leviathan is coming."

Supergirl returns on Sunday, October 6th along with the series premiere of Batwoman.

Arrow Ups Ben Lewis To Regular For Final Season

Ben Lewis, who portrays Oliver Queen's adult son William Clayton, has been upped to a series regular heading into the eighth and final season of Arrow.

Lewis made his first appearance on Arrow last October in the Season 7 premiere, which introduced him as a future adult version of the title hero’s son. Canadian actor Jack Moore previously portrayed the present day version of the character.

Lewis is the latest actor on the show to receive series regular status ahead of the show's rerun this Fall. Last week, it was announced that actress Kate McNamara had also been upped heading into Season 8. McNamara portrays future Team Arrow member Mia Smoak, the daughter of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak. Last season, Mia teamed up with brother William, Connor Hawke, and Zoe Ramirez to defeat the faceless Galaxy One corporation. In addition, the wall separating The Glades from the rest of Star City was torn down. This led to Dinah, Rene and the rest of the adults going into hiding and leaving the kids to set up a new Team Arrow.

The CW will be bringing Arrow to San Diego Comic Con this weekend, along with the rest of the DC TV shows. The show returns to airways October 15th at 9pm.

Aimed at adult collectors, “HERO H.A.C.K.S.” is an extension of the already popular H.A.C.K.S. figure system and will feature 4” scale figures with over 30 points of articulation and highly detailed sculpts. Due out in spring of 2020, Boss Fight Studio will debut the line in time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Flash Gordon film.

“We are thrilled about bringing Flash Gordon and The Phantom to a trusted partner like Boss Fight Studio” says Carla Silva, VP/GM, Global Head of Licensing, King Features. “We know the brands are in great hands and with the team’s remarkable attention to detail, they will develop a product line sure to please our fans”.

“The team here at Boss Fight Studio is very excited to begin work on these two long-loved King Features properties,” said Sarah Brown, Director of Business Development and Marketing for Boss Fight Studio. “The inclusion of Flash Gordon and The Phantom into the Boss Fight family of brands furthers our push to grow H.A.C.K.S into all new and exciting expressions. The most widely-read superhero comic strip in the world, The Phantom, created by Lee Falk, was launched in 1936 and has endured for over 80 years. Today, King Features distributes the strip to more than 500 newspapers in approximately 40 countries and it is translated into nearly 15 languages. From his debut as comics’ first costumed hero, The Phantom has the distinction of being one of the few adventure strips in continuous syndication.

The Flash Gordon comic strip was first published in 1934 and was originally drawn by Alex Raymond. His illustrations built a reputation for Flash Gordon as one of the most highly regarded and influential American comic strips. Flash Gordon has since been represented in a wide range of media, including television and animated series, as well as full motion pictures such as the 1980 cult-classic. This deal was brokered on behalf of Boss Fight Studio by their agent, FanGirl Consulting & Brand Management.

New DC TV Costumes Revaled For Arrow, Flash More

Fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming 2019-2020 DC TV season.

Not only will it be a season set to introduce the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event, but one that will also see the end of Arrow and the beginning of Batwoman.

But, what of the fate of Oliver Queen? Will he die while spending his shortened final season working alongside the Monitor to prevent the end of the world? "Because he’s a superhero with no superpowers, I always felt he should die — but he may also not die. I cried as [Marc Guggenheim] was telling me. There are a lot of hurdles to get over to make that final scene," says leading man Stephen Amell while speaking with Entertainment Weekly.

Along with the tease, the Hollywood trade has debuted an impressive selection of covers and official images bolstering some of the biggest heroes within the DC TV Universe. These images not only reunite fans with the likes of Oliver, Barry, Sara, Kate and Kara, but also give us a first look at some of the new duds some of the characters will be wearing come Fall.

You can check out all the covers and images posted below...

Are you excited for the return of DC TV this Fall?

There's certainly a lot of stuff to look forward to, and we're sure DC fans are going to be more than pleased with what Marc Guggenheim, Beth Schwartz and the rest of the Powers That Be behind the small screen superhero universe have planned for next season.

Also, with The CW bringing all of these DC TV shows to San Diego Comic Con this weekend, fans should expect some exciting announcements over the next few days!
