Review: DC Comics - Wonder Twins #2

The newest issue of Wonder Twins is here, and we couldn't be happier!

In this latest issue, alien twins Jayna and Zan enjoy their first official high school field trip - to a local LexCorp prison. Obviously, even the DC Universe isn't immune to budget cuts.

Of course, it's their after school assignment from the Justice League that they're really looking forward to - even if its mostly monitor duty once more. However, they'll also get to meet Titan Titans icon Beast Boy and square off with the vampiric menace Drunkula, a villain from the League of Annoyance! Yep, apparently the Legion Of Doom has a farm team now too!

How will Jayna and Zan fare in their first battle with a real supervillain?

And, where do you even stick a vampire with alcohol poisoning once he's caught?

All that, plus the debut of Gleek, in this week's awesome issue of Wonder Twins!

Mark Russell and Stephen Byrne have knocked another issue out of the park!

Wonder Twins is a genuinely fun revamping of two classic characters, one that's not afraid to get a little goofy while embracing the lesser knows of the DC Universe! Mark Russell weaves a fun-filled plot that takes a numerous look at what it means to be a teen from another world, while Stephen Byrne brings plenty of bright, beautiful panels to the fore!

This is a great book, plain and simple! It's gloriously goofy, and packed with enough fun to brighten even the toughest of days! Wonder Twins Is A Winner! What more is there to say?

Rating: 5/5 - "Wonder Twins Is A Winner!"

Wonder Twins #2 lands on newsstands today.
