Last year at San Diego Comic Con, director Zack Snyder took to the stage to talk a little bit about his upcoming superhero smack down Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. During the panel, the first footage from the film was previewed and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot appeared on stage briefly. Snyder assured fans they'd see them again this year, for what is sure to be a major Batman v Superman presence at San Diego Comic Con 2015.
While Warner Bros. has yet to officially reveal any panels for the film, we're guessing that, true to Snyder's words, Affleck, Cavill and Gadot will be returning to San Diego this year to push the highly anticipated flick.
But, it looks like someone else is also tagging along.
While speaking with Collider, Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor in the film, revealed that he will be present in Hall H this year. “I’ll be there…I think I’m there for the hour I’m on the stage,” Eisenberg said during the interview.
He also took the time to praise the film's screenwriter, Chris Terrio: “I like what this writer does, this guy Chris Terrio. He wrote this movie we did and I just think he’s so great. He’s such a good writer. I like what he does with characters, I like what he does with wordplay and cleverness. I like anything he writes.”
Terrio, who won an Oscar for his work on Argo, was brought in to rework David S. Goyer's initial screenplay, and it sounds like his contributions were significant for Batman v Superman.
It sure sounds like it's going to be an awesome year at Comic Con for DC Comics fans!
San Diego Comic Con is running from July July 8—12th.
