The Force was strong with Disney and Lucasfilm this past weekend.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story dominated its competition at the box office this weekend and finished its first few days in circulation with a massive $290.5-Million global take.
Domestically, the Gareth Edwards film brought in $155-Million, the second biggest opening weekend in box office history - behind only Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opened in theatres this time last year.
Overseas, the film earned the fourth largest December opening of all-time with $135.5-Million from 52 territories. It also had the best opening weekend of 2016 in many European markets such as Germany, Spain and France.
Set before the events of 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope, the latest film follows a group of Rebel Alliance operatives as they attempt to steal the plans to the Empire's Death Star battle station.
Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed and Alan Tudyk, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is playing in theatres now.
