It looks as though fans are finally about to get their first taste of Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart as the avatars of four kids sucked into a video game version of the Jumanji board game.
The film serves as a sequel to the classic 1995 film starring the late Robin Williams.
According to Trailer Track, a full trailer for Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle has been rated by Consumer Protection BC. It clocks in at 2 minutes and 30 seconds long and has been deemed appropriate for all audiences.
Set for release on December 20th, the film now has plenty of time to get fans excited for what's to come. Unfortunately, as seems to be the norm these days, the movie has met with some pretty stiff criticism from fans of the 1995 original ranging from Karen Gillan's costume to the fact that the sequel now takes place within a video game instead of a board game. In all honesty, we feel these criticisms are unfair and feel that fans should wait to see the movie, or at least a trailer for the movie, before passing final judgement.
Having grown up with the original Jumanji, we're really curious about the sequel and are really looking forward to seeing what's in store. Here's hoping it doesn't disappoint.
Look for the trailer to arrive soon!
