General Antiope To Return For Justice League

Caution - Minor Spoilers Follow!
While she may not have the biggest role in Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, fans will cross paths with Amazonian General Antiope once again when Justice League hits theatres this Fall.

In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, actresses Gal Gadot, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright revealed that Antiope will be appearing in the highly anticipated DC Film. Nielsen said that she and Wright "got to do more in Justice League," with Wright adding that "you get some of the history" between them in that movie.

Given the character's fate in Wonder Woman, we're guessing that Antiope will most likely show up in Justice League during some flashback sequence. This matches up pretty well with some footage shown in the film's trailer, which sees an Amazonian army battling a horde of alien invaders.

But, who knows? Characters don't oftentimes stay dead in comic books, or comic book movies. Maybe Zack Snyder has a plan to bring the kick-ass warrior back to our modern era. After all, Superman is coming back, why not Antiope?

Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, Justice League arrives in theatres on November 17th.
