Joss Whedon may be the one currently working behind the camera on Justice League, but it is still very much Zack Snyder's film. The director exited the project late last month following a family tragedy, with Whedon taking over to film additional scenes for the project prior to its November release date. Still, Snyder is all about promoting the superhero ensemble any way he can.
The director recently took to his Vero account to share a moody new snapshot of Ben Affleck's Dark Knight - bathed in shadow and clearly ready to dish out some justice.

We've been told time and again that Justice League will have a lighter tone compared to what we've seen with the likes of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, but it's quite clear that Affleck's Caped Crusader will still be embracing the shadows in the upcoming superhero flick.
Which is just fine with us!
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe and J.K. Simmons, Justice League hits theatres on November 17th, 2017.
