Ever since director Rick Famuyiwa departed The Flash in October, many fans have been wondering if actress Kiersey Clemons would ever get the chance to play Iris West within the DC Extended Universe. Well, fans can rest easy as the Dope co-star recently sat down with Modeliste Magazine and, not only confirmed that she's still play Iris in The Flash movie, but that she has already shot a cameo appearance for Zack Snyder's Justice League.
"This November, I’m making a cameo in Justice League as Iris West and it’s the first time that you meet her before we get to see her in The Flash with Ezra Miller. It was my first time doing something so extravagant like that. We filmed in London and that’s one of my favorite places."
Interestingly, Iris West won't be the only familiar face from The Flash set to make a cameo appearance in Justice League. Actor Billy Crudup will also be popping up in the film as Dr. Henry Allen, Barry's father.
While neither Clemons or Crudup will probably not be appearing in the movie for very long, this is an excellent way for Warner Bros. to set up The Flash movie.
Now, if only they could narrow down a director.
Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gagot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Joe Morton Jr., Billy Crudup, and Kiersey Clemons, Justice League arrives in theaters on November 17th.
