November officially marks the 40th anniversary of Steven Spielberg's iconic film Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. Regarded as one of the greatest films in cinematic history, it will soon be back on the big screen thanks to Sony Pictures.
The studio has released an eerie new trailer for the re-release, which can be viewed below. The teaser is entitled This Means Something, which is a line from the movie’s famous mashed potatoes scene, when Richard Dreyfuss’ character sculpts his food to resemble Devils Tower.

Sony will re-release Close Encounters Of The Third Kind in theaters across Canada and the United States beginning Friday, September 1st. It will screen for one week.
