It sounds as though the upcoming Hellboy reboot may have found a home.
Lionsgate is in final negotiations to pick up the project. Neil Marshall will direct, while Stranger Things actor David Harbour will portray the film's titular character.
Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin are producing, as is Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Entertainment.
Two Hellboy films have been released thus far. Sony released the first one in 2004, while Universal brought the sequel, Hellboy: The Golden Army in 2008. Both films were directed by Guillermo del Toro and starred Ron Perlman in the lead role.
Neither Perlman or del Toro are involved with the new film, entitled Hellboy: Rise Of The Blood Queen. The project is looking to begin shooting in the Fall.
