You can't keep a good assassin down!
Appearing at the Heroes & Villains FanFest in Nashville over the weekend, Arrow leading man Stephen Amell shared some very interesting details about the show's upcoming sixth season.
When we last left the Emerald Archer, he had just watched as the island of Lian Yu exploded into a fireball of biblical proportions, putting the lives of many allies and enemies in jeopardy. However, during the convention, Amell revealed that at least one of those stuck on the hellish island will be back when the show returns in October.
"I can report that Manu Bennett is back to being a part of the show," he said, referring to the actor who portrays the fan-favorite assassin known as Deathstroke. "And I think we will see him multiple times this year, which is awesome."
We couldn't agree more, Stephen.
Does this perhaps mean that Ollie will be making good on his promise to help Slade locate his beloved son next season? We certainly think it's a definite possibility.
What do you think, Infinite Earths fans? Are you excited to see more of Deathstroke on Arrow next season? We know we sure are! No one has so perfectly embodied the very essence of a character within the DC TV Universe the way Manu Bennett has, and seeing more of his character moving forward is something that has us eagerly anticipating the show's return this October.
Starring Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy, Paul Blackthorne, Willa Holland and Manu Bennett, Arrow returns for its sixth season on Thursday, October 12th at 9pm.
