It looks as though Damon Lindelof is officially on watch.
Just a few months following the conclusion of his critically acclaimed HBO series The Leftovers, Lindelof is now hard at work on his next project for the network - Watchmen.
Back in June, it was announced that Lindelof had entered talks to develop an adaptation of the comic book series for the network. Now, Lindelof is teasing the beginning of pre-production, sharing a picture on Instagram from the writers’ room with the caption, 'Day One.'
Of course, fans will recognize the base of the trophy pictured here to be the one given to the first Nite Owl, Hollis Mason, upon his retirement.
Not much else is known about the project at this time, however we do know the show will be completely separate from the 2009 Zack Snyder film. What do you guys think?
