Shazam will soon begin production, and work on the Dwayne Johnson led Black Adam doesn't sound like it's too far behind.

According to our friends over at the Tracking-Board, Adam Sztykiel is in talks to write Black Adam for New Line. For those who don't know, Sztykiel is known for his work on comedies like Due Date and NBC’s Undateable.

There’s no director attached yet, but the film will be produced by Johnson and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions, and Beau Flynn of the Flynn Picture Company.

The news comes just days after New Line and DC set Zachary Levi to star as the titular hero of David F. Sandberg's Shazam. Production on that film begins February 2018 in Toronto, Ontario.

Jessica Henwick Hits The Gym For Iron Fist Season 2

We're just over three weeks away from the release of the next Marvel Netflix series, The Punisher. However, things have also started to ramp up on the streaming services' other comic based programs as well - including Season 2 of Iron Fist.

Granted, the Danny Rand solo series struggled in comparison to its predecessors - Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but Season 2 will see some changes taking place in the form of a new showrunner in the form of Raven Metzner - something we hope that will work in the show's favor moving forward into next season.

Additionally, with production on the next season soon to be upon us, actress Jessica Henwick has taken to social media to document her training regime in preparation for her return as Colleen Wing on the Marvel solo streaming series.

Check it out below...

Man, this lady clearly isn't messing around!

Production on Season 2 of Iron Fist should be getting underway by year's end.

Here's just hoping we finally get to see Finn Jones rocking the classic costume this time around!

Get Your First Look At Supergirl Villain Reign

Reign will soon be making her small screen debut.

The CW has revealed the very first image of Odette Annable as the Supergirl villain - and it certainly looks as though she's fully prepared to embrace her destiny as a Worldkiller.

Check out the image posted below...

While this is certainly a different take on the New 52 villain, there are some design cues taken from her comic book counterpart on display here - including her headpiece, gauntlets and shoulder armor among other things. And, while it may be a new and different take compared to what we were expecting, we'll be the first to admit that we like what we see.

Currently, Reign's alter ego, Samantha, is the head of L Corp in Lena's absence.

What do you think of this design?
