An Aquaman Trailer Was Never Planned For WonderCon

A few months leading up to WonderCon, rumours began circulating that Warner Bros. would be releasing a trailer for James Wan's Aquaman during the convention. However, when this didn't prove to be the case, more rumours surfaced stating that Warner Bros. had pulled the trailer from their schedule due to concerns over possible fan backlash.

Now, director James Wan has taken to social media to set the record straight regarding the Aquaman trailer and, in a classic case of check your sources, has revealed that there were never any plans in place to unveil a trailer for the film at WonderCon.

Check out Wan's response posted below...

So, there you have it, Infinite Earths fans!

Not only was there never any official plans in place to unveil an Aquaman trailer at WonderCon this weekend, but it doesn't even sound as though it's done yet. And so, fans across the globe must sit and wait a little longer to get their first look at Wan's swashbuckling adventure.

But, as the old saying goes, good things come to those who wait!

WonderCon continues this weekend in Anaheim, California.

Aquaman swims into theaters on December 21st.
