While many a Marvel fan are clamouring for a sequel to Doctor Strange, leading man Benedict Cumberbatch says that he's not sure when that project will eventually move forward.
Responding to when he may get a sequel, Cumberbatch told Entertainment Weekly: "The masterplan is continually in flux, so it would be out of order for me to speculate."
Doctor Strange opened late in 2016 and would go on to gross $677-Million at the worldwide box office. So, a sequel certainly seems to be a possibility over at Marvel Studios. And, while we currently don't know when that's going to happen, fans can look forward to catching up with the Sorcerer Supreme next month in Joe and Anthony Russo's Avengers: Infinity War.
Marvel has been playing their cards close to their chest as to their plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe beyond the fourth Avengers movie. We know that a Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel and a third Guardians Of The Galaxy are on the way, but other than that, all we can do now is sit and wait to see what the studio decides on.
