Disney and Pixar's The Incredibles 2 is on track for a massive $140-Million North American debut on June 15th. This means it could very well take the top domestic opening of all time for an animated film, exceeding the $135-Million brought in by Finding Dory.
The story of the new film, hitting the big screen over a decade after the original, follows the Parr family as they try to balance having a normal life with their superhero powers.
Bob Parr is a house husband who must deal with Dash's sarcastic remarks, Violet's teenage rebellion and baby Jack-Jack's burgeoning superpowers while his wife, Helen, heads off to save the world from a new and dangerous threat.
The whole family must suit up to battle a new villain, Screenslaver.
Brad Bird directs, writes and lends his voice to the cast.
Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Samuel L. Jackson and John Ratzenberger are all returning to the sequel alongside newcomers Huck Milner, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush and Isabella Rossellini respectively.
The Incredibles 2 arrives on the big screen June 15th.
Nearly fourteen years after the original.
