The Constantine Animated Series Is Coming Home

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the trailer for Constantine: City of Demons, a full-length, R-rated animated feature film based on the DC animated series from CW Seed.

Like the previously released Vixen animated movie, Constantine: City of Demons was initially produced as a series of animated shorts for CW Seed. This new release will have a runtime of 90-Minutes and feature over an hour of never before seen footage.

Check out the full-length trailer posted below...

A decade after a tragic mistake, family man Chas (voiced by Damian O’Hare) and occult detective John Constantine (voiced by Matt Ryan) set out to cure Chas’s daughter Trish (voiced by Laura Bailey) from a mysterious supernatural coma.

With the help of the mysterious Nightmare Nurse, the influential Queen of Angels, and brutal Aztec God Mictlantecuhtli, the pair just might have a chance at outsmarting the demon Beroul to save Trish’s soul. Along the way, he’ll come face to face with arch-nemesis Nergal.

Joker Movie Eyes Marc Maron

Marc Maron is headed to the DC Universe.

The Glow actor is being eyed for a role in Todd Phillips' Joker.

The film stars Joaquin Phoenix as the man who will become the Clown Prince Of Crime, with Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro and Frances Conroy also expected to star.

Should the deal close, Maron would portray an agent on Robert De Niro’s talk show who plays a part in booking Phoenix’s character, and causes him to go mad and become The Joker.

Phillips will co-write and direct the Warner Bros. movie, which opens October 4th, 2019.

Insiders stress that Jared Leto, who starred as the Joker in Suicide Squad, is still on board to portray the character in the DC Universe and that the Phoenix flick has no effect on what happens with Leto’s character in future DC films. Leto will star in his own standalone movie.

Marc Maron can currently be seen as television director Sam Sylvia on Glow.

Timeless Returning For Series Finale

Get ready, Clockblockers!

NBC and Sony Studios has announced that Timeless is returning for a two-part series finale scheduled to air later this year during the holiday season.

"We’re excited to tell one final chapter to this incredible story," said Lisa Katz, NBC co-president of scripted programming. "A huge thank you to all — our cast, crew, producers and partners at Sony – who have worked so very hard, and to the fans who kept us on our toes and made sure we did our very best week after week."

The finale is aimed at giving fans some closure following the show's recent cancellation.

Saved mere days after cancellation last year, the fan-favorite time-traveling drama was axed by NBC back in June following poor ratings.

Created by Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke, Timeless averages a 1.2 in the key adults 18-49 demo and nearly five million total viewers with seven days of delayed viewing and has maintained both a very loyal and extremely vocal fan base during its two season run.

Last year, the series was saved from cancellation after Sony gave up 50% of the show's ownership stake to NBC's Universal Television.

The show began when mysterious criminal Flynn stole a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. A team comprised of scientist Rufus, solider Wyatt, and historian Lucy must then use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events and undo the damage Flynn has done.

Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.

John Davis, John Fox and Marney Hochman executive produce.

The identity of Pascal's mysterious character remains unknown at this time, but it's pretty obvious he'll be channelling some sort of 1980's era businessman for the part.

Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, and Kristen Wiig.

Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.

Kevin Smith Returning To Supergirl

Kevin Smith is returning to the DC TV Universe.

The Jay And Silent Bob star recently revealed on his Fatman On Batman podcast that he’ll be directing another episode of the hit DC Entertainment drama, Supergirl.

"I go up to Supergirl, when is it? I’m doing Episode Four," said Smith."I’m doing an episode, I shouldn’t say which one because I don’t think we’ve announced it yet… I could still get fired if they dig through my tweets."

Previously, Smith has directed three episodes of Supergirl, as well as three episodes of fellow DC TV stalwart, The Flash. These episodes have been, on our opinion, some of the very best that have hit the small screen - although, we're still praying he gets a crack at Arrow in the future.

What do you think, Infinite Earths fans?

Are you excited to see Kevin Smith back on Supergirl this season?

The hit DC Entertainment drama returns Sunday, October 14th.

Review: Dynamite - Charlie's Angels #3

The Angels Head To Germany!

Charlie's Angles is back on newsstands this month with another exciting issue that sees Sabrina, Kelly and Jill overseas attempting to stop a plot to destabilize America.

After making their way across the border, the trio head to a CIA safe house after stealing some mopeds and contact Bosley for help. They're then patched through to Charlie, but it doesn't take the Angels long to realize that it's not their boss on the other end of the line. Certain there is a plot afoot, the trio give a fake address and sit tight.

Not too long after, a demolitionist arrives and looks to blow the Angels to heaven. However, he destroys the wrong building and finds himself taken down by the girls - who aren't looking to play nice after the attempt on their life.

Back in America, the German spies realize that their man has failed to off the Angels, and so they put in a call of their own - to three very naughty girls looking to send our heroines straight to Hell!

We've said it once, and we'll say it again - we absolutely love what John Layman and Joe Eisma are doing with Charlie's Angels! This latest issue is as fun as one would expect, filled with plenty of action and enough 70's stereotypes to keep readers entertained from start to finish!

This latest issue takes the heroines overseas as they attempt to save the world once more - and, if you ask us, the world couldn't be in better hands! We can't get enough of this fun-filled series, and hope it'll be sticking around for the foreseeable future!

So long as Layman and Eisma stay on the title.

Rating: 5/5 - Charlie's Angels can do no wrong, as the fun-filled throwback has us waxing nostalgic for this classic 70's TV series with each passing month!

Charlie's Angels #3 arrives on newsstands Wednesday, August 8th.

Don't miss it, Infinite Earths fans!
