The Oko is unmasked!
Mulan and Britt are now the prisoners of the mysterious masked man known as the Oko, and they're about to be unmasked on national television- not good news for anyone trying to battle the forces of evil and successfully maintain a secret identity.
Fortunately, Tai arrives to save the day and, in the resulting confusion, is able to free her friends. The Green Hornet and Kato engage the Oko and his goons, unmasking the fiend in the battle and learning the shocking truth about who he is and what his connection to the Espada really is.
And no, we aren't giving that way!
After escaping, Britt, Mulan and their friends head back to the United States just in time to prevent a takeover of The Daily Sentinel. Upon reclaiming his company, Britt becomes the talk of a frenzied media, all of which are eager to learn of his ordeal. And, while he keeps the truth to a minimum, Britt promises to keep the paper going strong - come what may in the future!
The latest issue of Amy Chu's Green Hornet comes off as extremely fun and satisfying. We loved the action and the globetrotting fanfare! The art from German Erramouspe is top notch and the final confrontation and reveal of the Oko's true identity was more than just a shocker.
All in all, we must say we were very impressed with the latest issue of Green Hornet and are more than a little eager to see where Mulan and Britt end up next! This was a pulpy thrill worthy of the Green Hornet's timeless legacy, and we hope it won't be too long before we're riding with our heroes once again!
