Three new faces will be joining the cast of Supergirl next season.
Announced this weekend at San Diego Comic Con, the new additions to the ever expanding cast of the hit DC Entertainment drama include Nicole Maines, April Parker Jones and David Ajala.
Maines will portray Nia Nal, the newest addition to the CatCo reporting team. She is a soulful young transgender woman with a fierce drive to protect others. Nia’s journey this season means fulfilling her destiny as the superhero Dreamer.
April Parker Jones has been cast as Colonel Haley. She is a hardline career military woman who lives and dies by the orders of her commanding officers. Dedicated to her country, she always acts in its best interest — even if it’s not her own.
And finally, David Ajala will portray Manchester Black.
Black is the type of guy who brings a knife to a gunfight and still walks away the winner. With a dark past, he easily deflects the brutality of his mission with his charm and sense of humor.
The trio join previously announced new series regulars Jesse Rath in the role of Brianiac-5, and Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty - who featured in the recent trailer for Season 4.
Are you excited to meet these three new characters next season?
Starring Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, and Sam Witwer, Supergirl returns Sunday, October 14th at 8pm.
